Tonight around 6:30 to like around 9:20ish was my last Monday class of my freshmen semester at Columbia College Chicago! So friggin’ happy ONLY because of the fact that it means the summer is practically here. The class was Applied Marketing, and I really enjoyed it because I learned a lot, adding to the noggin’ data bank. The project I used for this class is going to become reality as I’ve contacted many many many NA people within the music industry and any industry for that matter, and they are all up for the challenge. I am looking forward to the Summer to get it started and plan a more precise structure for the business. Until then, looking forward to bigger and better things for the upcoming days.

I think this is awful but then again I am not sure what could have caused it. I’m pretty sure that some sort of insurance contract had to be set in action because of this situation. I’m just glad that Dj Khaled and his crew are safe and nothing major happened to any of them.
There will be a show in relating to the new information that has been discover on the show ‘Behind the Music: Notorious BIG’ which will air on May 3rd 9pm EST.

Who’s loving the Adidas commercial?
I’m loving the Adidas commercial!
So simple, yet concise. I love the fast that Derrick Rose, Katy Perry, and David Beckham are in it. It wasn’t just about the athlete this time around as you can tell by the way they incorporated Katy to represent Los Angeles. I feel that this commercial is to evoke more activeness no matter who you are. Which I got the feel from the variety of people in the costumes running who were representing San Francisco. I just love this commercial.
I’m not really a big fan of Rihanna’s Cake Remix with Chris Brown. This video however, made me like the song a little more. I think what I love most with this video is of course, the choreography. I recommend any one who loves to dance to watch it. You may as well think of how to create your own choreography together with these different bold songs that are hitting the speakers today.
I was looking at my Google+ feed this afternoon when I saw something about Google Tap. It had LL Cool J’s face , as he is the Product Lead. It interested me on how Google had gotten LL to ‘promote’ Google Tap, or if he was the one to go to Google and was very interested in the idea that he wanted to be a part of it. Anyways, I think that it’s a cool idea to be bringing back morse code and use it for more modern things, such as email, or eventually texting.
However, April Fools (a day late)!. It is a Google april fools joke. Good Job Google!
So I came up this article at a late 2:45 am. I’m definitely surprised as being a music lover of all genres and stuff like that. I’m just stumped that Limp Bizkit signed to the Cash Money family and soon to be released; a collaboration of Limp and Weezy. I’m very curious as how this project will turn out.
I guess opposites do attract. Crazy, huh… but that’s just the evolution of music for you.
I’ve watched this documentary about twice but couple years ago. I hear all this commotion about Rick Ross being dubbed #1 mc by MTV New’s for the Hottest MC in the Game VII List. #2 was Drake, #3 was Kanye West. I love some but not all of their music.
I understand that we are in a different time so of course generally, everything changes, music included. It’s just hard for me to differentiate an MC and Rapper now and days because many see the fame or material assets of an artist as their “rights” to be considered a MC.
Personally I love this documentary because the time in music made the term MC in music sort of as respected and reputable, that only a few lyricists could be dubbed MC’s. Whereas I feel that the term now is basically just being thrown around to anyone who is in HipHop. Maybe its just me, but I’m in the old mindset of how MCs and Rappers were differentiated., Now and days I’m just confused.
I’m not a huge of Kelly Clarkson but what has recently caught my interest is how she has once again emerged herself into the music scene.
-In the driver’s seat of the Toyota Camry commercial.
-Singing the American Anthem at the 2012 SuperBowl XLVI (46) in Indianapolis.
-Now performing on the 2012 Grammy Awards singing “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Jason Aldean.
I guess my interest is just how she easily transitioned herself back into the scene after basically disappearing. *poof!… like magic*
I happened to do a little research myself and also found out that she has an Reward System for her fans, it is called “Kellebrities Rewards”. Its a system that fans must subscribe and put in a little personal info. Fans start earning points by browsing her website, purchasing items, participating in twitter, Facebook and other social networking activities, and browsing her videos and pictures.
Recently posted on her website to promote her STRONGER Tour 2012, points can start being redeemed by Kellebrities Members. Rewards are front row tickets valued at 40,000 points, regular show tickets @ 30,000 points, and Meet&Greets valued @ 37,000 points.
Very awesome marketing strategy to reach to those die-hard, or devoted Kelly Clarkson fans who have waited for her this long and rewarding them made them even bigger fans.
